An Hour Before Closing
By Link (with apologies to Clement Moore)

Twas an hour before closing
And all through the club
Not a customer was moving,
Except eyes to rub.

The stockings had fallen
From legs dark and fair,
In hopes that the green stuff
Soon would be there.

The customers slumped,
Each snug in his chair.
As visions of cleavage
Danced in the air.

Holly was resting
Close on my lap.
So the last thing I wanted
Was a long winter's nap.

When back from the curtain
There arose such a clatter
I jumped from the office
To see what was the matter.

The stage curtain opened,
And then split in two.
The audience grew quiet,
And the house lights turned blue.

A single light shown
In the center of the stage.
Could this be something new
To rattle our cage?

A second light appeared.
I see… Oh, Golly.
I knew in a moment
It must be Miss Molli.

Like tips from the bucket,
Her friends joined the game.
So we whistled and shouted
And called them by name:
"Now, Siren, now, Edie,
Now, Crimson, now, Mia,
Oh, Jade! Oh, Kim!
Oh, Natasha and Tia!

At the top of our lungs
We started to call,
"Strip away, strip away,
Strip away, all."

The garments were flung
To the walls and the ceiling.
Our feelings were stirring.
Our senses were reeling.

A bundle of toys
Molli pulled from her bags.
Not toys for the kiddies,
But playthings for stags.

My eyes, how they twinkled!
My complexion, it brightened!
My cheeks were like roses.
My underwear tightened.

The ladies they moved,
And they danced, as on fire.
Siren swung her bottom
And her breasts, ever higher.

Crimson grabbed a toy
And adopted its rhythm.
One customer yelled "More,"
And I yelled it with him.

We all moved together
As if joined at the belly.
We shook, and we vibrated
Like a bowlful of jelly.

A wink in Mol's eye
And a twist of her head
Soon gave me to know
I had nothing to dread.

She spoke not a word
But went straight to her work.
And reached for her stockings
And gave them a jerk.

And laying her finger
On top of her garter.
We emptied our wallets
And smiled even harder.

She sprang to the curtain
And give a quick nod.
The dancers they vanished
With our cash in a wad.

And Molli spoke softly
As she started to go,
"Come back tomorrow
For the rest of the show."
